Ahima Jewellery designer Dorothy Arhin draws inspiration from different cultures from Africa and within Ghana, to hand make a range of individually meaningful fine jewellery in sterling silver, 18ct gold and rose gold vermeil.

Inspired by her Ghanaian heritage, Dorothy uses the symbols of wisdom, strength, truth, virtue and grace that have for centuries underpinned and been used to pass on the essential life-guiding principles of the Ashanti people of Ghana. Ahima Jewellery subtly imbues such emblems with fine fashion design and colour to form unique pieces for the modern woman.

Each design is painstakingly handcrafted in our North London studio, so that whether a gift or a special treat for yourself, when you buy an Ahima Jewellery you can be certain that it’s a beautiful timeless piece of the highest quality, individually finished and infused with both love and tradition.

Ahima jewellery was founded by Dorothy Arhin, who launched her own business after working for ten years with some of the finest jewellery brands in Ghana and in the United Kingdom. She is a qualified silversmith with a Master of Arts degree in Jewellery, as well as a member of the Guild of Jewellery Designers UK.
